Dark and ominous ambient atmospherics. Mystical, magical, ritual atmospheres glowing with passion.

Perhaps the name Chaos As Shelter is known for his shared Ground Fault release (see Vital Weekly 372) or his 3" CDR on Taalem (Vital Weekly 410). Here our man from Israel comes with one thirty-one minute work. It's ambient music for sure, but one of a lighter nature than I would have expected. A repeating bleep is played on a synth and things hum nicely in the background. This is ambient music as once intended by Eno: music that fills your environment in a rather pleasent way, without forcing itself too much upon the listener. A nice background drop, while you are at work. One to put on repeat for a while.

This is an oppressive soundtrack for delirium tremens casualties. At the rhythm of dark ambiences, Chaos As Shelter draggs us in territories we were not aware. "Waves" is an universe only composed by low frequencies, ambient waves, dead winds and gloomy atmospheres. The survivors hope a cosmic divinity will save them but time flies...
