Harsh but varied noise from post industrial to power electronics.
In Vital Weekly 453 I was introduced to great extent with the music of Germany's Fluchtwacht and now they return with some more 'unknown taperecordings' as the translation of this is. Although Fluchtwacht operates in the realms of noise, this release is particular more rhythmic than their previous releases. Some form of mechanical rhythms is the backbone of the most of the tracks, with the sound of distortion from analogue synths and footpedals on top. But some of the pieces are full-blown noise blasts, and this makes the release into a somewhat unbalanced affair. The rhythmical pieces are less present in volume compared to the noise pieces, which is a pity. But otherwise this is the most varied and therefore best Fluchtwacht release so far. by frans de waard @ vital weekly
