Each release features some special handmade artwork, limited to only 50-60 handnumbered individually crafted units, each piece features exclusive material by the artist.

`This sprawling document is comprised of the final recorded work and the last show of Aluminum Noise before changing names and coasts. The music on the first two discs is mainly calm, prolonged dream state style sweeping ambience, containing an atmosphere similar to a calmer Gruntsplatter or a more dramatic Cold Electric Fire. These two discs represent a cohesive whole, which work best when played one after the other in one sitting. The third CD-R is a professionally done recording of the last Aluminum Noise show (in Carrboro/Chapel Hill, NC) which showcases some material from the two other CD-R's as well as a cover of Black Sabbath's "Sweet Leaf"(?!?). Manipulation comes with abstract full-color artwork, with a booklet for each disc, packaged in a triple jewel-case. This album usurps all previous Aluminum Noise material sonically and visually. Last time around it was the moment for sonic sideshow, now Mutantum is diving deeper. The music on EXP is more focused than on the further reaching sonic realms of Sonic Sideshow (debut release), the style is now more in the depths of ambient noise. All of the tracks are sonic voyages deep into the inner mind. The majority the basic material are natural and unnatural sounds twisted off their original form. The organic feel is also a mean to get these noises somewhat pleasing to the ear, instead of really harsh noise. The rhythm in itself is not as strong element as on Sonic Sideshow. Many of the tracks do have pulse, but there are no rhythm machines, sequences or drum samples this time around.´

`Since 1995, Miguel A. Garcia, through his project "XEDH", has been developing an incessant serach of new musical proposals within the more industrial and noisy side of music. More familiar to old bands, such as Throbbing Gristle or Esplendor Geometrico than current panorama which has a more conventional attitude. Garcia's sound forms are strengthened by noises and rhythms trying to create an environment that reflects simultaneously the self-destruction of the human being and the decline of a society that becomes less and less human. "Serpents" is a good example of that: obsessive rhythms that evoke in the distance the sound of the human machinery into action. Sounds are based on dissonance, manipulated voices, noise "increscendo" no exempted from influences within the most brutal noise panorama and the light fragments of most conventional music (that calles melody). The soundtrack of a world on the verge of extinction, the present time, and the mortality through the personal apocalypse of a single human being.´

"Microsleep" is the new album on Verato Project. The music has been created on laptop using sounds and samples collected from natural sources and/or records, films, radio, etc. It was inspired by a trip to Australia and the road signs warning of the dangers of microsleep and advising to stop over at rest areas. The individual tracks' themes are those of fatigue versus sleeplessness, loneliness and long distances, dreams and nightmares of being on a road to nowhere.´

`After a long time of silence here comes a new album from the german Harshnoise project EHE. The sound is created by different sources, e.g. a broken guitar pick-up, mutated by a few effectpedals. The music is a strong, impenetrable harshnoisewall in which there are permanent accumulations, changes or extiktions of structures. These quick changes create a speed effect and the whole sound appears as Speed Harshnoise.´

Even in this CD-R era, some claim to like the sound of tapes, and "Tape Sludge" is an exploration of such sounds. Created almost solely from sounds recorded to tape 18 years ago, then run through many generative processes, "Tape Sludge" offers a wild and twisted ride through sounds in varying degress of decay. A few circuit-bent sounds are thrown in for good measure, but generally what you are hearing has been warped and restored-- or destroyed-- from almost 2 decades ago.

Hysteria was conceived with the idea of using sounds of water and earthquakes and creating an eerie atmosphere. The rhythmic quality of some of the soundscapes was made by use of beat-like structures taken from recordings of earthquakes as registered through seismographic institutes. As for the rest – a cave-like atmosphere was intended and in difference to the dark ambient pieces some are experiments in sheer noise and deconstruction. The whole of the mini-album is to be seen as one and was done in a relatively short time in the summer of 2007.
